A Cheerios Picnic

Happy Birthday, June!

We had to push back June's first birthday party because we were hit with the plague in February. But we were all healthy for the big bash when it finally arrived. Her first taste of cake was delicious, but uneventful because these were the cleanest little cakes I've ever seen. My mom gave her an antique table and chairs, which belonged to my Aunt Carolyn in the 1940s (and I had them, too). She also received lots of toys and books and clothes, including an awesome handmade dress by our neighbor, the owner of Annie's Clothesline. Thanks to everyone who made it a special day for June!

Outside Again

Playing outside is so much more fun than being cooped up indoors. Especially when you have a grandpa with a big yard, long driveway and a big red barn. And June is very excited to join in on the fun now that we let her out of the stroller every once in awhile.
