Up and Down

Max has started pulling himself up on everything (the couch, bed, high chair, standing mirror, open toilet, etc.). He hasn't started cruising yet, but I'm sure he is close. The problem is, he doesn't know how to get down. So he has taken a few tumbles, but he's a good sport about it.

Max has also been saying "ba" a lot, which naturally means "ball." He is so advanced.

Old Trick, New Shirt

Max is a pro at crawling now; I just have been slow at uploading the videos. He is all over the place and getting into EVERYTHING. Here we are at home, with a guest appearance by his girlfriend Naomi. (He's wearing a Burberry shirt, thanks to some hand-me-downs from Miles. The pants didn't fit as well; we had to unbutton them after lunch. And he lost a sock. But the shirt looks great.)

Happy 30th, Amie!

Amie, Nick and Audrey came up for Amie's birthday this weekend. We stayed in on Friday, and then Amie and Nick had a date night while we watched Audrey on Saturday. Max loved having a friend in town, and they played so well together. Justin and I got to learn a few things about caring for a toddler, and we got a head start on our babyproofing. The "gate" for the hallway was only temporary.

All Alone

Max was so sad when Audrey left. So many toys; no one to play with.
