Henry Turns 2!

Danza and Matt went all out for Henry's second birthday party. It was a rodeo theme, and we all wore our best Western attire. Check out her blog for some great party pics.

Her Babies

I think I've mentioned it before, but June loves her babies. She feeds them, holds them and puts them to bed all the time. She also sometimes puts them in the corner and yells "Sit! Sit! Sit!" at them, but that's normal, right?

Trick or Treat

We had so much fun with the kids on Halloween. Max and Harrison were old pros, knocking on doors and shouting "trick or treat!" Henry and June were rookies, riding in the wagon to the first few houses before they asked to get out (or "ooot" as Henry was saying in his best Canadian accent). June was mistaken as a "cute space boy" by several people, but I figure she'll probably be a princess for the next seven Halloweens, so why not instill a sense of adventure now.

Pumpkin Patch

We had a fun outing to Freeman Family Farm in Bloomington today. They open their farm to the public on weekends in the fall for people to visit their pumpkin patch and barn full of pumpkins, animals and riding toys. It was a pretty modest set-up, but perfect for a morning outing.

Family Getaway

We recently experienced our first family getaway to Chicago. It was our first long-ish drive and first hotel stay with both kids. They were great, and we had a blast visiting our old digs; exploring Millenium Park, Crown Fountain and the Lincoln Park Zoo; playing at the park and hanging out with good friends. We've decided to make at least two annual trips to Chicago -- one with the kids and one solo.

Baby Doll

Little June loves her baby dolls. She likes to put them to bed -- over and over and over again. I need to capture this on video.
