Two Months!

June turned two months this week! She got an A+ at her two-month check-up, tipping the scales at 13 lbs., 13 oz., which is greater than 97th percentile for weight. She recently discovered her hands, and they are always in her mouth -- particularly her thumb, which may be the reason for her sleeping through the night (two nights in a row!). She is a very laid-back baby with a beautiful smile, and we're having so much fun getting to know her.

Best Buddies

That might be an overstatement, but Max is having more fun with June now that she can smile at him. He likes to bring her toys and touch her cheeks, and he is always asking to "Hold Jume" (that's not a typo).

New Boots, Old Boots

Max may have a boot fetish. He just can't get enough of them.

Round and Round

Max also learned how to sing "Ring Around the Rosie," which he now calls "Round and Round." It only took a few takes to learn the ropes.

Tuckered Out

We All Scream for Ice Cream

Max devoured his first ice cream cone at my mom's house this weekend. By "devoured," I mean "savor every bit until you are covered in stickiness and the cone disintegrates into your hand" -- which took about 20 minutes.

A Day at the Farm

We kicked off our weekend in Carmel at Andy's house, where Max got to play with toy tractors and ... real chickens. My brother and sister-in-law have a bunch of chickens at their house in the 'burbs so they can enjoy fresh eggs. The chickens are all different, and it was so cool to see them running around the yard.
